The congregation of St. Timothy’s is particularly interested in outreach to the community.  We believe our mission and ministry is to serve others in Christ’s name.  We offer a variety of outreach opportunities which include: 

Community Dinner

Community dinners are held once a month from September to November and January to May.  Dinner is available for carry out or dining in the parish hall. 

St. Timothy’s cooks offer homemade chicken and noodles, lasagna, ham and beans, spaghetti, chili, as well as their famous mashed potatoes, pie, and cake. 

Proceeds from community dinners fund our outreach projects. Free will offerings are accepted, but not required.  Please join us each month for food and fellowship.

Thanksgiving Dinner

On Thanksgiving Day, St. Timothy’s offers a complete traditional dinner including:  turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry salad, rolls, and dessert. 

We welcome everyone from families to single elderly people to gather and give thanks with us.

Cook Day

Once a month St. Timothy’s cooks prepare homemade soups and casseroles which are taken to Hope Unlimited to provide compassionate meals for those in need. 

We welcome everyone to join in the “Fellowship of the Kitchen.”

Backpack Program

In our community, many of our children do not receive adequate nutrition over the weekend.  Every week, St. Timothy’s, in partnership with Wesley United Methodist Church, provides food for school children via the Backpack Program. 

Easy to prepare food is packaged by church members and delivered to the grade schools and the middle school.  Items include:  individually wrapped packages of instant oatmeal, Pop Tarts, granola bars, Easy Mac, Vienna Sausages, peanut butter, drink mixes, cookies, and fruit snacks. 

Currently, the two churches provide 125 packs per week.
